Who we are
MantiSpectra B.V. ("MantiSpectra", "we") is the controller for the personal data described here. We are based at High Tech Campus 9, 5656 AE Eindhoven, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 80657451, VAT number NL861751930B01.
For anything relating to your personal data, write to info@mantispectra.com. We answer within one month, as the GDPR requires.
What we collect, and why
We collect as little as we can. We hold personal data about you in one situation only: when you get in touch with us.
When you contact us
This website has no contact form. The contact page lists our email addresses and you write to us directly, so the only personal data we receive is what you choose to put in your message — typically your name, your email address, your employer and what you are asking about. We use it solely to answer you and, where relevant, to continue a commercial conversation.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and — once a conversation becomes a commercial one — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Because there is no form, we ask you for nothing at all. You decide what to tell us.
Retention: we keep enquiries for 24 months. If the enquiry becomes an active commercial relationship, we keep the correspondence for as long as that relationship lasts and for seven years afterwards, which is the retention period Dutch tax law requires of business records.
Analytics
We do not currently use any website analytics. Nothing on this site profiles you, follows you between pages for measurement, or shares your visit with a third party. If we ever adopt an analytics tool that sets non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before it runs and update this page at the same time.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports on how our pages appear in Google search results. It does not place cookies on this website and does not identify you.
Who else can see your data
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (website hosting and file storage) and Neon Inc. (the database, hosted in the European Union). Both include data processing terms in the standard service agreement we entered into with them. We do not use an email delivery service, an analytics provider or a CRM, so no personal data reaches any of those.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where your data is held
Our website and database are hosted in the European Union. Both providers named above are companies headquartered in the United States, so where a transfer of personal data outside the EEA does occur we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict or object to how we process it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these, contact us using the address above. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens — autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the people who need it to answer you, each with their own account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting and database providers. If a breach occurs that is likely to risk your rights and freedoms, we will report it to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and tell you directly where the risk to you is high.
Changes to this statement
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the review date at the top.
