Cookie statement

The short version
This website is designed not to need a cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers, and we do not profile you.
Why you are not being asked to accept cookies
Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet, your consent is required before non-essential information is stored on or read from your device. Consent is not required for anything strictly necessary to deliver the website you asked for.
We have built the site so that nothing non-essential is stored. That is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight: a consent banner is a poor experience, and a large share of visitors decline anyway, which makes the resulting data unreliable.
What is actually stored
Checked against the live site on 4 August 2026: no page on this website returns a cookie to your browser. The list below is therefore what could be set, not what you will find. Re-check it whenever a third-party embed is added.
- Strictly necessary items required to serve pages and keep the site secure. These carry no advertising or tracking function.
- If you sign in to the content management system as a member of staff, a session cookie is set so that you stay signed in. This applies only to staff accounts.
Embedded content
Content embedded from other websites — video, maps, social feeds — can set its own cookies and can track you. We avoid such embeds, and where one is genuinely necessary we use a privacy-preserving mode or require a click before it loads. Adding an embed to this site is a decision with legal consequences, not only a design one.
If this changes
If we ever introduce a cookie or tracker that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent beforehand, using a mechanism that makes refusing as easy as accepting. This page would be updated at the same time.
