What is ChipSense™?

ChipSense™ is a miniaturized, sensitive, solid-state, scalable Multi-Channel Multi-Band 500-1700nm spectral sensor chip, used for real-time, low-cost, contactless, and non-destructive material property analysis.

What can I measure with ChipSense™?

The sample types applicable for ChipSense™ analysis include liquids, solids, and powders. The parameter of interest must exhibit chemical fingerprints within the 500-1700 nm range, a spectral region where organic materials typically show relevance. The target parameter should be present in the sample at concentrations of at least several tens of ppm. Ideally, the sample to be measured should consist of a single, homogeneous type, to ensure consistency and accuracy in the analysis.

What does a Development Platform include?

The development includes one hardware option, to be selected from SpectraPod™, Nibble™, or NibbleBeat™, along with one software option, either SpectraByte™ or SpectraWeb™.

What is the difference between SpectraByte™ and SpectraWeb™?

SpectraByte™ is a PC-based platform for device management and data readout. SpectraWeb™ is a cloud-based platform for device management and data readout, which also includes pre-built algorithms for the automated construction of classification and quantification prediction models using machine learning.

What are the configurations available for Nibble™?

Nibble™ is available in a reflectance configuration for the analysis of solids and powders, and in a transmittance configuration for the analysis of liquids.
