Customer Technical Support Manager (Hyperspectral Sensing)

MantiSpectra is a fast-growing, high-potential scale-up shaping the future of miniaturized spectral sensing. We develop innovative, low-cost hyperspectral sensing solutions that empower industries and consumers to make smarter, data-driven decisions.

We are expanding our Sales and Business Development team and are looking for a Customer Technical Support Manager (CTSM) who will help accelerate the adoption of our groundbreaking ChipSense™ technology. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our innovation and our customers’ success — providing expert technical support, driving seamless integration, and enabling scalable product adoption.

Your Role

As our Customer Technical Support Manager, you will:

  • Act as the primary technical contact for key customers.
  • Solve complex technical challenges and ensure seamless integration of our hyperspectral sensor chip into customers’ systems.
  • Work closely with our Sales, R&D, and Product teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Travel globally to support customers on-site and represent MantiSpectra at exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
  • You’ll report directly to the Head of Sales & Business Development and will be based at our offices in Eindhoven, at the heart of the High Tech Campus.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as the trusted technical advisor for customers, providing guidance on product integration, configuration, and problem-solving.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal product performance and minimal downtime.

Customer Success & Product Adoption

  • Drive successful implementation of MantiSpectra’s solutions by delivering best practices and hands-on support.
  • Monitor customer adoption, remove roadblocks, and maximize customer satisfaction.

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to assess customer needs and propose optimal solutions.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, feasibility studies, and tailored proposals.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Deliver engaging training sessions and create user-friendly documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best-practice resources.
  • Empower customers to become self-sufficient users of our products.

Customer Advocacy & Product Feedback

  • Act as the voice of the customer within MantiSpectra, sharing insights with R&D and Product Management teams.
  • Provide feedback that helps shape future product features and roadmap.

What you bring

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on R&D experience in analog/mixed-signal HW/FW electronics design, ideally involving optical sensors.
  • Experience working closely with customers as an R&D Engineer, Customer Technical Support Manager, or Field Application Specialist.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, ability to learn fast, and high self-motivation.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with Machine Learning or modelling design.
  • Knowledge of Chinese or other Southeast Asian languages.
  • Previous exposure to start-up or scale-up environments.
